Going for the “clean, totally not default” aesthetic, I have created a mock logo using after effects.
If you were watching the moving logo, you would notice the shapes rotate and spiral, the triangle fading into opaqueness. The text that ingeniously says: “Logo.” fades in and expands from the centre.
I did these movements and animations by utilizing keyframes(I asked Peter if it was one word or two, he says one.) A keyframe is a point in a project where an asset is one way, another keyframe is placed at another way, as in: Opacity, location and rotation.
As it should be quite obvious by now, I want to make movies. A filmmaker who can do more than just direct, so learning something in visual effects could take me a long way.
Added: I recently discovered this post gathering dust in my drafts file. Since then, I have created text that can be spliced into a scene, moving with a set target.
